here's something that you might not expect let's say you start to go on this journey again for probably the umpteen thousandth time to try to torch off some of that body fat lose some fat drop some fat get rid of some fat not just weight we really should focus on fat what's that going to look like this time when you actually get off the first five or six or seven pounds usually that's cause for Celebration trust me when I say I've celebrated a lot over the years I celebrated for things that I shouldn't have even been celebrating for and what I found was because I was addicted to processed food you know I can't say I was addicted to steak I'm not I wasn't addicted to fish I can't really say those things carry that much of an addiction component for me but processed food sugar carbohydrates flour starches fruits maybe not fruits candy of course cakes all of those things very very addictive and very difficult to pull away from because I found that most of those by me were consumed by impulse I would just want to eat and thereby wanting to eat I would go grab it because of course it was here wherever I was I had it around me so it's easy access if it wasn't here it would depend on how well I fought out that particular battle whether I was gonna phone it in and have it brought to me have somebody else bring it to me or go out and get it those things made it a little bit more difficult especially once I started winning and not you know screwing up the practice all the time and that's another thing that I did I started looking at all of those times I failed all of those times I was unable to continue most of us I think we can agree we're able to lose some weight we can start I can go from being in a high carbohydrate type diet which by the way doesn't do me any good at all but I can be in that diet then I can go into a ketogenic diet where basically I get rid of sugar starches in most forms all forms of carbohydrate drill that number down to almost nothing and in very short time within a couple days I'll drop an incredible amount of weight but like anything you start with regard to changing the way that you're eating or even fasting usually the body is very good at retaining water in a surplus caloric fed state when mainly what you're eating is sugar and carbohydrates that's a big part of your diet and carbohydrates wheat flour cakes cookies those sorts of things and then you switch over into what's known as ketosis where basically your body is breaking down fat for fuel your store body fat because your insulin is staying very dormant very low so your body isn't creating insulin insulin that response is typically for sugary foods carbohydrates that's when your body secretes the insulin to deal with the sugar that's now gonna be in your bloodstream and they keep that window pretty narrow if you continue and you eat the sugary high carbohydrates processed food over timing all day long and you keep your insulin nice and high most of the day nice being a misnomer nice actually not being good at all if you do that over a period of time it would seem that you would become type 2 diabetic or get some other issues related to that having an elevated insulin level all the time from what I've read and from what I know what makes a lot of sense to me as human beings we weren't engineer to be eating high processed food all day long in fact we weren't meant to be eating in the volumes that we we are of those types of food the body doesn't deal with it very well it's unfortunate that's the case cause they're so wonderful but they're also highly addictive and they're engineered that way it seems from what I've understood on purpose if you look at some of the ownership of a lot of the food conglomerate that has a majority of processed food or a lot of it those snacks and such that we find in those cute wonderful little wrappers so much so we don't even understand what a serving size is in fact if you looked at some of the serving sizes on these packages even the smaller ones you would see that there are multiple servings in that package which is really depressing but when you eat the entire package and devour several more in short order right after that of course that thereby is the problem so I had to break away from that one of the things that I would suggest is prepare for your success prepare for that moment when in the past you have not continued on your path maybe it's stress coming in from the outside maybe you're just waiting for somebody to tell you something so you can go back on your bed and say the hell with it and just continue being fat but don't let the joke be on you if you're going to do this do this because you want to don't do it because something you're trying to change in your
